Digimon - Apocalypse AU - Koushirou Izumi

I've got this idea in my head of an alternate universe of Digimon Adventure 02 in which MaloMyotismon takes over the digital world but is at least temporarily kept from achieving his orginal goal - creating one world of darkness. However, MaloMyotismon does take control over some of the Chosen Children. Namely Sora, Kari, Matt and Ken who already got in touch with the darkness in their hearts and Myotismon uses them against their friends.

Without them the others are not strong enough to defeat MaloMyotismon. No matter how many other DigiDestinied are currently in the digital world because doubt begins to spread among them. Realizing this, MaloMyotismon seals the gates to the real world and begins to systematically capture one Tamer after another in order to use them for his army or to feed on them.

With their numbers reduced Tai and the remaining Chosen Children are discouraged but not beaten. They form a resistance group and begin to search for a way to help their friends. Izzy and Tai are currently on their way to find a possibility to contact Genai in the hope of getting some advice or help. Mimi and Jyou keep an eye on several groups of DigiDestinied who could flee from Myotismon. Davis, Yolei, Cody and T. K. roam he DigiWorld to search for friendly Digimon who will help them in their fight against MaloMyotismon.

With all of this happening Azulongmon uses the last of his remaining powers to upgrade the Digivices of many of the children into D3-Digivices, granting them new powers which they need in order to survive in the new darker Digiworld. Thus, resulting in a change of appearance. (Like Davis, Yolei and Cody in Adventure 02 when they entered the DigiWorld)

This is still a draft but I guess I'll be adding more to it.
For now I just had to get this out of my head!
